
ENTRY CONDITIONS
IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING ENTRY TO THIS EVENT
1. Wetsuits
Triathlon Australia-approved wetsuits are compulsory for all age group competitors in long and short course. If you do not have access to a wetsuit please contact the Event Manager at stadiumtri.kvt@gmail.com in advance of the event. Loan wetsuits can be made available on the day of the event however the size range may be limited so bookings are essential.
Normal Triathlon Australia wetsuit rules apply for open competitors.
Participants in the Kids Triathlon on Sunday do not require a wetsuit.
2. Service Fee
All registrations will incur a RaceRoster service fee of 5.5% in addition to the advertised entry fee.
3. Changes to entries
Should you wish to make changes to your entry (i.e. long to short course or vice versa, triathlon to aquabike or vice versa) please email the Event Manager at stadiumtri.kvt@gmail.com.
Changes to entries will be permitted until 5pm WST Friday 22 February 2025 and are subject to Clause 6: ‘Withdrawals and refund policy’ detailed below. All changes are subject to availability and may not be permitted if a category is sold out.
For registration downgrades (e.g. long to short course; triathlon to aquabike), we will refund you the difference in registration fee (minus a $10 administration fee).
Due to registration system limitations, registration upgrades (e.g. short to long course; aquabike to triathlon) may require us to cancel your registration and refund your entry fee (minus the $10 administration fee) and for you to complete a new registration. RaceRoster’s service fee will apply to the new registration.
If a waitlist has been established and remains open, you may be waitlisted in that category.
The entry fee applicable to the new entry category you wish to change to will be in accordance with the tier currently open.
4. Entries close
Entries for this event will close at 9:00pm AWST Friday 14 March 2025 or when the field limit is reached.
5. Waitlist
A limited wait list has been implemented for this event. If you register for the waitlist, payment will not be taken unless you are successfully promoted into the event.
As new places become available in the event (following withdrawals), participants on the waitlist will be promoted into the event in order of the waitlist.
Successful waitlist promotions will be charged automatically at time of promotion against their pre-provided payment details. Failed payments for waitlist promotions will be notified via email and automatically retried the following day. In the event of a second failed payment, waitlisted registrants will be notified by email and have until 5pm WST the following day to make a manual payment. If payment is not received by this time the participant will be withdrawn from the event.
Promotions from the waitlist into the event will continue until 5pm WST Friday 28 February 2025.
Waitlisted participants may withdraw their registration at any time prior to being promoted into the event.
IMPORTANT NOTES
Promotions from the waitlist to the event may still occur after the refund cut-off date.
If you are promoted into the event after the refund cut-off date you will not be eligible for a refund.
It is up to participants to monitor their position on the waitlist and withdraw if they no longer wish to participate in the event.
Once you are promoted into the event, Clause 6: ‘Withdrawals and refund policy’ applies.
6. Withdrawals and refund policy
Notification of your intention to withdraw from the event must be made via email to stadiumtri.kvt@gmail.com by the cut off time and date to be eligible for the relevant refund.
Refunds will be permitted as per below.
FULL REFUND: Prior to 5:00pm AWST Friday, 24 January 2025
50% REFUND: Prior to 5:00pm AWST Friday, 21 February 2025
No refunds will be provided after 5:00pm AWST Friday, 21 February 2025 under any circumstances and your full entry fee will be forfeited.
Your entry cannot be transferred to another person or credited toward future events.
7. One-day license fees
In accordance with Triathlon Australia policy, if you are not a Standard or Premium member of Triathlon Australia you must purchase a one-day license as part of your registration. One-day license fees collected as part of registration are forwarded to Triathlon Australia.
All team members must be Triathlon Australia members to avoid the Triathlon Australia one day license fee. If a one-day license fee is applicable it will be charged only once per team.

8. Kids Triathlon
The Karri Valley Triathlon Kids Triathlon will be held on Sunday 23 March 2025 and is open to children aged:
7-9 years (short course - 100m swim / 2km bike / 500m run), and
10-13 years (long course - 200m swim / 4km bike / 1km run).
Wetsuits are not required for this event.
